Multiple Part Sight Reading for Choir!

The concept for SightReadingFactory.com was born out of a need that I had as a band director looking for an easier and more efficient way to practice sight reading with my ensembles. As you may know, SRF up until now has only supported unison sight reading for ensembles. We have had much positive feedback and requests for multiple part sight reading! Over the last few months we have been hard at work and are now proud to announce that SRF supports sight reading for multiple voice choirs.

Choirs can now select between 2, 3, and 4 voices and even specify which voice types they want. The chorales are designed to follow the principles of the basic part writing rules. There are 6 levels of difficulty that increase in complexity with larger leaps and more rhythmic and melodic independence. Level 1 would be appropriate for a choir just beginning to sight read in multiple parts where level 6 would be a challenge for a choir experienced in multiple part sight reading.

Update: we now also have multiple part ensemble music for band, string orchestra and full orchestra. You can learn more about it here.

We hope you enjoy and please let us know what you think!
